Narrated Story Cubes

As part of the Illustration Masterclass led by Kate Pankhurst, the young people each created a 'Story Cube'. Each face on their story cubes had an illustration from one of the six scenes in the play they had devised with Lucy Fiori.

Next we asked the young people to work together to use their story cubes to create the visuals for their story as they narrated it to camera.

As you can imagine this activity took a lot of co-ordination, practice and negotiation, it also demanded that the young people find a way to synthesize each of their personal narratives into a shared group narrative. We were really impressed by their performances, see below...
